By finishing this course, you will earn either 12 clock hours or 1 graduate-level credit. You will automatically receive a certificate for clock hours at the completion of the course.

ESSDACK partners with MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas to offer college credit for our courses. This course is worth 1 Knowledge Level credit. This credit will cost an additional $90, payable to the university. (MNU also offers Application and Impact level credits, which would be applicable to your completion of this course as you begin to use the course materials with your students. And cost more $$. But seriously? $90 a credit? Bargain.)
At the end of the course, you will complete a form to request the college credit reflection documents. A MNU required reflection will be due to MidAmerica Nazarene seven days after you receive the email containing the enrollment details. Please note that there is no flexibility in this process. Submissions later than seven days after the end date will not be accepted by MNU.
Below are the required reflection questions you will be asked to submit to MNU:
- Describe the key content presented in the workshop.
- Explain why this information is important to the field of education.
- Explain the potential impact this methodology, philosophy, information, or the influence it will have on students and/or communities.
- If you are or were a classroom teacher or specialist, articulate how you will implement
this new knowledge in the classroom. For teachers, lesson plans are acceptable in this
section. If you are an administrator, describe how this new information will impact your
building or learning community.
